2004 AVART FESTIVAL
A Juried and Judged Outdoors Fine Arts Festival
Saturday, June 5, and Sunday, June 6, 10 AM - 5 PM
Triton Museum of Art Gardens, 1505 Warburton Ave., Santa Clara, CA
This year, 2004, SBAWCA will sponsor a booth at the 9th AVArt Festival.
All current SBAWCA members are welcome to participate in the SBAWCA Booth.

Starting February 17: Sign Up
- Contact Dana Eaton: Get your March 12 jurying time slot and indicate if you will be participating in the optional open critique. Be sure to do this soon, as the number of slots are limited.

Option: If participating in the open critique, send check for $10 made out to SBAWCA to:

- Help: Tents and display panels are needed; please contact Dana if you know of any that we can use on June 4-6.

March 12: Attend Jurying/Critique. All artists are required to be juried to participate in AVArt Festival. This year's juror will be George Rivera, Triton Museum of Art, Executive Director.
- Place: Pacific Art League, 688 Ramona Ave., Palo Alto.
- Time: 6 - 10 PM, Open group critique/jurying. Come for the entire event or just your time slot. Arrive at least 15 minutes before your scheduled time with George.
- Bring: 2 framed and ready-to-hang pieces or finished 3-D work for jurying. 2-D size limitation 18" x 22" Framed.Critique: Optional Critique fee ($10)
AVA Jurying FREE - Bring: two legal size, self addressed envelope .
- Bring: completed SBAWCA participating/jurying form.
- Bring: checkbook to pay SBAWCA Festival participation fee of $10.
- Pick up: an AVArt Festival entry form; the AVArt Festival entry fee is $15.

Sign up: for a SBAWCA-booth work shift with Dana Eaton. It is required you volunteer time. Choose one of the following time slots for your work shift:
- Friday, June 4, Noon - 3 PM, Booth Construction
- Saturday, June 5, 7 - 10 AM, Set-Up
- Saturday, June 5, 10 - 2, Booth Sitting
- Saturday, June 5, 2 - 6 PM, Booth Sitting and Close Up
- Sunday, June 6, 8 - 10 AM, Booth Set-Up
- Sunday, June 6, 10 - 2, Booth Sitting
- Sunday, June 6, 2 - 6 PM, Booth Sitting and Take Down
- April 23: Deadline to mail AVArt Festival entry forms to AVA
- May 24: Deadline for information on displayed works to reach Dana Eaton. Please send (by email or regular mail) the title, media, size, and price for each original work to be displayed. All work must be original and for sale. All 2-D work must be framed and ready to hang. Maximum size is 18" x 22". For all 3-D work, artist must provide a pedestal.
- June 5, 7-8 AM: Drop off work. 1 piece per artists or more if space is available. Prints and cards can also be sold and can be displayed in artist-provided display racks/bins. Artist must provide an inventory list of prints and cards.
- June 4, 5, or 6: Work shift at festival. Mandatory for participation.
- June 6, 5 PM: Pick up art work.
