WHAT IS IT?

The Book Arts Jam is a one-day event for book artists and institutions showing limited editions,
as well as one-of-a-kind handmade artist books, zines, letterpress books and broadsheets, mailart, calligraphy, fine art prints and multiples.

Exhibitors rent a table in
an indoor environment at Foothill College in the heart of Silicon Valley. The intent is to create a mini open studio for book artists to show and sell their work,
to see the work of others and to educate visitors about the book arts. Exhibitors will go through
a jury process to ensure diversity of media and the quality of the work. This is a not-for-profit book arts event.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION: Acceptable media: Zines, Artist's Books, limited edition handmade books, letterpress books and broadsides, multiples in any media, fine art prints, and calligraphy. On a separate sheet, please describe your work and enclose in any format (slides, photographs, photocopies) pictures showing examples of your work to assist the jury process. Please include full fee of $25 made payable to SBAWCA with application.  Fees will be deposited upon acceptance to the show. Unaccepted applications will have their checks and application materials returned, please include a stamped self-addressed envelope for this purpose.
